Your agent

Manage agents

Hire more agents, start from a ready-made profile, rename, duplicate, publish, and remove agents, and find the advanced tools.

Overview

A department usually ends up with more than one agent. This page covers everything around the agents themselves: adding them, finding ready-made ones, copying a good one, sharing it, and removing it.

What you can do

Grow from one AI employee to a team, one clear job at a time, and keep the department tidy as you go.

Hire another agent

Click New employee in the sidebar, or press ⌘D (Ctrl+D on Windows). The New employee panel opens: "Your next hire is AI."

Give it a name and, optionally, a description of what it does. Both can be changed later.

Optionally pick an existing agent under Start from to copy its identity and settings as a starting point.

Click the create button. The new agent appears on the canvas within a few seconds and shares the department's workspace.

Adding an agent to a department that already has a workspace doesn't start a new hosting line. Hosting is billed per workspace; see Billing and plans.

Start from a ready-made profile

You don't have to write every brief from scratch.

Click Discover in the sidebar, or press ⌘K.

Search your own agents, or scroll to Discover profiles to browse the hub of ready-made starting points for research, sales, content, and more.

Click a profile to read what it does, then install it into your department. It arrives as a normal agent with its identity, skills, and automations pre-filled.

Open its identity and make it yours: your company, your rules, your voice.

Rename, duplicate, publish, delete

Each agent card has a ⋯ menu (also in the chat header):

ActionWhat it does
RenameChange the agent's name and description. Nothing else changes — conversations, channels, and settings stay put.
DuplicateOpens New employee with this agent pre-selected under Start from. The copy gets the same identity and settings and a fresh memory.
PublishShare this agent's setup as a profile others can install — see below.
DeletePermanently removes the agent and its data from the department's workspace. This can't be undone.

The first agent in a workspace can't be deleted on its own; it goes when the workspace does. To stop paying for a workspace, cancel it from Billing.

Publish an agent as a profile

If you've built an agent worth reusing — for another department, another client, or the wider community — publish it.

Open the agent's ⋯ menu and click Publish.

Give the profile a name and a description installers will read. Add a few tags so people can find it.

Choose who can see it: Everyone, Your organization, or Only you.

Click Publish. The panel shows its status, version, and install count. Publish again after changes to release a new version, or Remove it from the hub.

A profile carries the agent's identity, skills, automations, and the list of connected apps and channels — not the connections themselves. Keys, memory, and chat history never leave your workspace.

The workspace card

Under each department's sidebar entry sits the agent's workspace (in Billing it's called your hosted agent), with its agents listed beneath. Click it to:

  • Rename the workspace.
  • See its status: Setup pending while it's being built, Needs attention if setup failed.
  • Add a New employee to it.
  • Jump to Manage billing, or Cancel agent to schedule its removal.

Advanced tools

Employee settings has an Advanced section — dashboard and terminal — with technical tools for developers and for support. Anything you open there carries credentials for the whole workspace, so treat them like a master key. Everything a business owner needs is in the regular settings.
