Integrations
Connect the apps your business runs on - Gmail, Slack, Notion, Shopify, Stripe and hundreds more - so your agent can act in them.
Overview
Integrations connect an agent to the apps you already use. Sign in to an app once, and from then on the agent can read from it and act in it when you ask: pull this week's orders, draft a reply to that email, add a row to the sheet, post the summary to the channel.
What you can do
Give an agent the same app access a new hire would get, one sign-in at a time, and take it away just as easily.
Integrations are per agent. Connecting Gmail for your support agent doesn't connect it for your research agent — which is usually what you want.
Connect an app
Open the agent's settings and choose integrations. You can also click an app chip at the start of a new conversation, or Connect an app on the setup checklist.
Under Browse apps, find the app. Use Search apps or filter by category.
Click the app. A sign-in window opens for that service; sign in and approve the access it asks for.
Close the window. The app moves to Connected with a green dot.
If nothing opens, your browser blocked the popup. Allow popups for Opereo and click the app again. A few apps connect instantly with no sign-in window.
Use a connected app
Just ask. Once Gmail is connected you can say "Find the last email from Acme and summarise what they're asking for." Once Notion is connected, "Add today's notes to the Meetings page." The agent picks the right tool, and each step it takes is shown inline in the chat.
There's nothing to configure per task. If the agent needs more information — which spreadsheet, which channel — it asks.
Mention the connected apps in the agent's identity so it knows they're part of the job: "You have access to our Gmail support inbox and the Orders sheet in Google Sheets."
Disconnect an app
In Connected, open the app's menu (⋯) and click Disconnect. The agent loses access immediately. You can reconnect anytime.
Which apps are available?
Hundreds, grouped by category — email, chat, CRM, e-commerce, payments, documents, calendars, developer tools and more. Popular ones include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Shopify, and Stripe. Browse the list in the app; it grows over time.
Integrations vs. channels
Both connect to outside services, but they do different jobs:
| Integrations | Channels | |
|---|---|---|
| What it's for | The agent acts in an app on your behalf | People talk to the agent from an app |
| Example | Agent reads and drafts email in Gmail | You message the agent on WhatsApp |
| Slack | Agent posts to a channel when asked | Your team mentions the agent and it replies |
You can use both with the same app when it makes sense.
Keep it safe
- Connect apps the way you'd give a new hire access: start with what the first task needs.
- Let the agent draft and propose before you let it send and change. Put the rule in its identity.
- Disconnect anything an agent no longer needs.
